A Life In Music
Born in Toronto, Canada, Sean Watson has spent most of his conscious life making music of one kind or another.
Watson grew up in a restless globe-trotting family of musicians, living in such diverse places as Vancouver, Oslo, Budapest, Jerusalem, and Montreal.
In addition to writing and performing original material, Watson enjoys a career as a classically-trained opera and oratorio singer, with an increasingly busy performance schedule throughout North America and Europe. Watson recently sang the role of Argante in G.F. Handel's opera "Rinaldo" which was recorded for the Naxos label. The 3-CD opera is available in fine music stores everywhere.
Not content with merely interpreting the works of dead composers of days gone by, Watson is keenly interested in new music of all varieties, and he enjoys the challenge of composing in many genres.
Watson recently contributed original music to the new Canadian independent feature film called "The Visits", written and directed by Long Gao.
