Sarah Ruddick began her musical career as 'Smily Raymaker' on the online platform of 'Second Life' where she played live from her bedroom to the world. After some very positive feedback from her international listeners the owners of the game invited her to play in 'real' life at a recruitment drive in Brighton which paved the way for live sets.

Sarah is often seen playing her music around the Warwickshire and Leicestershire areas and at various festivals including the Leamington Peace Festival and the Godiva Festival. Sarah has received recognition of her songwriting and music by becoming a finalist in the UK songwriting competition for 2009, 2010 & 2011, a finalist in the Open Mic UK 2009 competition and the 'band of the month' in November for BBC Coventry and Warwickshire 2009.

With her unique and astonishingly agile voice, her effortless and original phrasing, Sarah Ruddick is a singer/songwriter with a bright future.
