The Robert Goodman Trio has rekindled a spirit that made music timeless - building upon today’s current events and the history of our great nation for inspiration. In November of 2002, Robert Goodman, pianist and vocalist as well as noted South Florida songwriter,contributing to several Florida Emmy sound tracks, joined with bassists Rick Shepherd and percussionist Mark Nemcek to form this unique trio. In drawing on recent events in History, the Trio has ignited a passionate flame of creativity in this new project. The resulting revived expressions of world peace, respecting the environment, ending poverty, and promoting freedom are themes found in this remarkable new genre.
