We are a rock quartet from Aalborg, Denmark, trying to play so our songs so loud that the people needing it, will awaken. We have known each other more than half our lives. We are in opposition to the spin doctors of the music industry who are poisoning the world with their designer-music, where the artist has not composed the music he/she is performing.

The name "Brakemen" originates in the book "On the road" by Jack Kerouac. The brakemen were working class men working on freight trains. Their job was to work railroad switches, and assist in the braking, when the train were getting out of control.
