Travis Lynch
Encouraged at an early age by his parents to study piano and music theory, He began
studying piano at the age of 6 and sang in the youth choir at his church, Zion Baptist
Church in Petersburg, VA. Travis Lynch was intrigued by the creative recording process
after watching the making of Michael Jackson's Thriller. He has since been enamored by the power of music.
In the spring of 2004, Travis Lynch began developing his skill of creating music and has
not looked back. Drawing on his background of piano, music theory, engineering and
an imaginative ear, Travis Lynch creates a musical soundscape which grabs hold of the
audience's attention to provide a sound & feeling for any artist to describe their musical
story and showcase their vocal talents. This up-and-coming producer is proving himself
as a consistent force in the world of Hip-Hop and R&B. His training in jazz, blues and
classical music help Him make any artist's sonic vision & feeling become a reality.
Creating music that grabs the audience's attention and then releasing that attention back to the artist is what he is best known for.
In 2006, Travis began Quintessential Sounds Music Group to provide music production,
vocal recording, mixing and songwriting services to independent artists. QS Music
Group's recording facility is located in Great Mills, MD.
Travis' recent projects include
producing Montario Hill's first R&B album "The Constitution". Travis also provided recording, mixing, editing and music production for Ken Garvin's musical production "The Moment", released in 2008.
Travis Lynch and Montario Hill won the NAMI 2008 Songwriting Contest with their inspirational song "This Road I Take". "This Road I Take" is now know as the NAMI organization's anthem.
Travis Lynch is always looking for opportunities to work with new artists and collaborators on new music and recording projects.
