I am a drummer and a bass player.
I was 69 when I first heard the chime of the bell like old Gibson I had inherited from my Dad who got it in 1937 when he was 10. A 1937 L -00 black sunburst with tiger stripe pickguard. Once I heard it's music -I had to make some of my own. A poet and lyricist all my life now I could put music to my words and creat new sounds and songs. So I started taking lessons. I am arthritic in my fingers and my hands are damaged from years of hard work and injuries and I can't shape the chords always like my teacher. But I can get the same beautiful tones in tune with some creativity on the physical finger geometry mechanics. I don't do covers. I just write songs. I am learning to play guitar with the guidance of a creative teacher who helps me translate the sounds in my head to the fretboard.
Sounds Like: Blind Willie Johnson, T-Bone Walker
