Polly Prior is a truly talented and original 25 year-old artist with a catchy and effortlessly distinctive cool pop/rock sound which is up-front, sexy and bittersweet.

With 2 diplomas in piano, Polly's talent was "discovered" at the age of 19 when she featured on a national TV show as one of the top singer/songwriters in NZ.

Reaching the finals of the 2001 NZ Ovation Songwriting Competition, Polly went on to have a song forwarded to a multi-platinum US artist as a potential smash hit.

Having formed a successful original rock band, in Nov 2002 Polly was told at the Taxi Road Rally in LA by US hit songwriter Jason Blume that she had the talent to "make it" and the potential to be a star.

Since going solo in 2003 Polly's sound has met with very positive feedback, winning fans, receiving indie radio playlisting and attracting industry interest.

Polly's first radio single "In My Dreams" will be released in Feb 2004.
