I learnt to play the blues at a very early age. My dad had a band and I learnt from him. Rock music has always lured me back. I learnt classical guitar, piano and even sitar. I did a music degree, but, while I love Beethoven and Bach, my heart rests with rock and pop music.
I find song writing immensely rewarding. I hope someone comes across my songs and sees the message in them. I think pop music is a very powerful way of getting short, powerful messages to people. If I could ever write a song like Yesterday or My Way, I'd die a happy man. Not just because of the money I might make, but I would get such a buzz from the thought that I was communicating something with so many people.

June 2007, new album of 7songs released. For copies email pop@popohare.freeserve.co.uk. The songs on this page are very new and quite different in styles. I enjoy writing in a range of music styles. I get the words first, then everything follows on from there.
Previous albums include a set of 4 love songs and a fun album about cars, where each song is about the driver of a different car, with a different style.
I play in a blues band, pop band and used to play sitar in a bhangra band.
