One High Five is turning 2011 into a great year with new surprises around every corner. Currently they are on the standby list for NXNE, preparing for a Battle of the Bands semi-finals, and are in the running to win free studio time. Always pushing forward and always having fun, they are working with dance troupes, planning a summer tour, scheduling interviews, and working on new material for an upcoming release.

One High Five is a rock and roll monster invading Hollywood, CA - targeting everyone with ears! The debut album "Here, Hear!," is a roaring announcement of raw power and sonic adventures.

One High Five features David Sauer (lead vocals/guitar) Madison René Knapp (vocals/percussion) Luke Icenhower (bass), Ryan Keith (keyboards) Tommy Miller (lead guitar) and Garrett Hanson (drums). The music blends rock, punk, surf and folk, taking influence from the Beach Boys, Green Day, Of Montreal, NOFX and the Strokes. 'Here, Hear!' was written by David Sauer and produced by Jim Roach. A full band was formed in the summer of 2009 to play a KROQ Locals Only sponsored show at the Viper Room on the famous Sunset Strip. One High Five bombarded the stage with pure energy, bright colors and a ton of balloons. Chelsea Schwartz, who booked the band at the Viper Room, tweeted during the show crying "There's a party on the stage and its called 'One High Five!'"

'Here, Hear!' boasts six songs and features the single "Everybody Pull the Trigger," which is currently on rotation at KROQ Locals Only and OcRockRadio. In addition, One High Five was interviewed and performed live for OcRockRadio. They have created their own music video, and have songs featured in independent films and commercials.

The band has played at the Viper Room, Whiskey a Go-Go, Cabana Club, Cat Club, DiPiazza's, Que Sera and Crane's Hollywood Tavern. Also, One High Five was given a four month residency at the Rooftop Gallery during the Los Angeles Art Walk and has traveled through Los Angeles performing with Theatre Unleashed.
