Ayo Bami is a soul songwriter/singer/pianist who brings traditional songwriting skills to a contemporary soul sensibility. Described by one reviewer as 'modern soul but with the spirit of the Beatles'.
An experienced live and studio performer, He honed his skills at the London College of Contemporary Music, Vocal Tech, and British Academy of New Music.
Ayo has recently been working with guitarist/producer Andrea on the 3 songs presented here - the bluesy rock sounding 'All I need' the acoustic chill of 'Break Free' and the funky 'So Fly' .
He is in the process of forming a band to showcase his unique songwriting style and passionate, heartfelt delivery. With influences from classic songwriters to classical composers and from Old School Funk to cutting edge producers, he combines interesting harmonic changes, intense and personal lyrics and contemporary beats.
