Singer/Songwriter Mia Sable, creates her distinctive style of Alternative Indie Pop by drawing upon a range of influences from folk to orchestral, from disco to jazz, and electronic to rock. Sable is the winner of the Los Angeles Music Awards' "Alternative Female Vocalist 2007", "Indie-Singer Songwriter 2006", and Malibu Music Award for "Adult Contemporary Artist 2009".
Composing and performing on both piano and guitar, Sable has played in London, New York, Toronto, at Sundance 2008, SXSW 2008 & 2009, NXNE 2008, Folk Alliance 2009, and in L.A. at Hotel Cafe. She independently released her debut album Propeller (2006) produced by Jim Wirt (Incubus, Fiona Apple) and Craig Bartock, and The Scenic Route EP (2008).
Mia opened for Sara Bareilles' secret show at Hotel Cafe July 2008, and has recently performed twice in-store at the Apple Store in Santa Monica, CA. Her new album "Light" (2009) is now available.

Mia Sable performed August 1st, in-store at the Apple Store in Santa Monica, CA for the launch of her new album "LIGHT" - and will be releasing a music video for the single "You Should Know" this fall. Upcoming performances include in-stores shows at Best Buy & Whole Foods. Mia is the winner of the Los Angles Music Awards for "Alternative Female Vocalist of the Year 2007" and "Indie Female Singer Songwriter of the Year 2006".

Singer/Songwriter Mia Sable, originally from North Carolina, creates her distinctive style of Alternative Indie Pop by drawing upon a range of influences from folk to orchestral, from disco to jazz, and electronic to rock. Truly a genre-crossing artist, Sable is the winner of the Los Angeles Music Awards' "Alternative Female Vocalist 2007", and "Indie-Singer Songwriter 2006", and is currently nominated for the Hollywood Music Awards "Best Female Vocal 2008" and the LA Music Awards "Female Singer Songwriter 2008".
