Meryl Leppard.

Exceptional singer/songwriter Meryl Leppard is a consummate performer and an engaging and funny storyteller.
Her work is uniquely Australian: fresh, quirky and captivating!

Meryl performs with superb guitarist, Bob Spencer and also accompanies herself on piano. Stylistically, her music ranges from jazz-like idiom, through blues and adult pop, to the sweet sounds of country cross-over. Her work appeals to an audience who appreciates style, taste and originality in music and dialogue.

Her 1998 solo show, “Mr. Walker and I”, made the A list of what to do in Sydney (Sun-Herald).
In “Witch’s Broom” at the Stables theatre, 2001, she was called “stunning and unique.”
I“Shedding My Skin” was performed during 2002 at various cabaret venues, including Chapel off Chapel in Melbourne, where it was a resounding success.
“Oral Fixation” was created for “Mardigras” 2003.

In 1999, the EP "Harry" was released to critical acclaim, Revolver saying "this particularly classy self-produced EP is a three track insight into the Leppard experience. Three tracks are nowhere near enough."
