Mark's latest collaborative effort, with long time friend and film production veteran Steve Wolpa, is called "This Way That Way." They are currently requesting funding for a Rockumentary/Biography with the intent of helping those who suffer from mental illness and addiction. Any interested party's can log on to www.MARKJLEWIS.com for more information and audio/video clips of material already slated for the project.

Bio

Mark was born in 1965 in Fayetteville, AR and began his love of music and the arts as a small child. At the age of eight he received instruction in banjo and acoustic guitar from Russo's House of Music and continuing on to electric and bass guitars at Parkers School of Music in Omaha, NE. Following the same path, he was active in chorus, barbershop quartet and technical theater in high school. In addition Mark received vocal training at Carolyn Jordan's vocal studio and Schmidt Music also located in Omaha.

Mark has been involved with many projects, the first being a high school trio named Felony, which won 2nd place in Omaha's annual battle of the bands. A second project, Untold Truth, gained regional and national attention touring 32 cities in the U.S. performing alongside such names as The Tubes, Dr. Hook and Foghat and was managed by AME in Kansas City.

The third and most notable project, Powers of Ten performed locally and regionally in the Midwest. Culminating with the self produced CD "Looking for You" in 1997. Utilizing live performances, recorded media and radio show appearances, the band became a local favorite, selling out of CD's at regional music vendors.
