Small town girl from Mississippi. I'm 25 years old, and have been writing and singing since I was 12. I released my first album earlier this year on itunes, entitled "For What It's Worth". The single, "For What It's Worth", has already been chosen by Apple to be used for an ipad commercial in Japan. Various other fashion videos and other small films have used music from the album as well. I have recently made the transition from writing music as a hobby to writing music for my career, and I'm loving every minute of it. I can honestly say that I am passionate about creating music that is unique, yet still relatable, and I think I have accomplished that. I love re-inventing old sounds and creating new ones. I would like to say that I am creating a new "folk" sound that is fresh yet altogether my own.
