Born in 1968, Lou St. Paul has been playing guitar since the age of eighteen. In 1990, Lou formed WINTERS BANE and since that time has consistently created some of the most memorable heavy metal songs ever written. In their first incarnation with former JUDAS PRIEST/current ICED EARTH vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens, they released the classic Heart Of A Killer album in1993.
In addition to WINTERS BANE, St. Paul is working on an instrumental solo project. Lou’s music has appeared on television numerous times, including the top rated television show "CSI," a commercial for Super Nintendo Battle Tanks, and on "MTV's WWF Tough Enough" program, to name a few. More television and film work will be forthcoming, as St. Paul will be writing music expressly for use in these mediums.
Lou is also an in-demand guitar instructor in the Akron-Cleveland, Ohio area, where he teaches all levels of students in electric and classical guitar.
