Iris is a mathematician turned composer. She started composing classical contemporary piano music only 6 years ago. She has music on CDs in UK, USA, France, Holland and Korea. She has a First Class Honours degree in mathematics from London University. Her hobbies are: playing the saxophone, participating in and watching sport.

Iris has recently signed a publishing contract with NorthStar Music, UK and they have produced a new CD called "Pause to Music" of 19 of her solo piano compositions which has just been released in Germany as part of a series called "Inbalance".. She has produced a joint CD with Classical Guitarist Tom Salvatori from Illinois, called "When Evening Falls" which is now released and is for sale at http://cdbaby.com/cd/salvatori7. An excellent American cellist, John Catchings has arranged and plays the cello on most of the tracks. His cello and the Steinway grand are a marriage made in Heaven! The recent tracks were recorded at Doz Studio, UK by Ollie Nicholls.
