Lisa T oney grew up in small country town in New Hamphire.Since she was about six years old her favorite past time has been listening to music..As a teenager her Favorite past times were going to Dj and Mc battles.She became very passionate about underground hip hop and R&B.Lisa and her family were invited by friends to go to Trinidad carnival in 2001.Her life took a great change .It was then she found a new love,soca music.Lisa has been in Trinidad for every carnival since 2001 she attends practically every show,constantly listens to the radio and is learning about the music industry in Trinidad.Her style is greatly influenced by Trinidad artistes in combination with her favorite American artistes such as Mary J Blidge,Jill Scott and Lauren Hill.Since visiting Trinidad in 2001 she has been inspired to compose over 20 tracks.Lisa's 2006 release is entitled WINE ON ME CLOSER.The song is receiving great reviews.She is currently working on materials for summer release and beyond.
