Lindsey Smith-Trostle is a cellist, composer, string arranger, pianist, singer, beat maker and glockenspiel & ukelele player. She loves to create texture and weave lines together creating romantic contemporary classical concoctions. Lindsey's music has a romantic/gypsy appeal, that has a simple ambient feel while at the same time building complex harmonies that are unique and entertaining to all audiences. Creating this music makes her soul happy and the hope is to spread the love around, collaborate and continually create. Lindsey specializes in arranging/composing, layering and weaving melodies and harmonies, and hip hop gypsy cello beats. She is trained classically but can play all styles, as well as improvise, compose, and arrange. Lindsey is a freelance cellist in Nashville, TN and has a Bachelors of Music in Cello Performance from Loyola University New Orleans and a Masters of Music in Cello Performance from Belmont University in Nashville.
