Lindsey's BIO

Lindsey Schust is a composer, singer-songwriter & percussionist from rural New Hampshire. Her songs reflect her passion for African & Afro-Cuban rhythms. Lindsey was introduced to African & Afro-Caribbean percussion by her Godfather, the late drumming icon, Babatunde Olatunji.

While pursuing her master's in composition, Lindsey visited Cuba with the Tufts University jazz band. This experience inspired the creation of her first CD "Dónde Está Mi Corazón", which features Lindsey (piano, bass, percussion, vocals) accompanied by, Grace Schust (vocals and percussion). The recording has been played on radio stations in many countries including Canada, Colombia, Peru, Italy, England, Australia, China, Greece, & the US.
