Laura was born in Fairfax, Virginia and at the young age of 3 moved to a 12 acre horse ranch, just outside San Diego, California. Riding, training and showing horses was her passion and it quickly turned to country music when her mother took her to see John Denver in concert at the age of 10.
After finishing high school, Laura moved to Los Angeles to follow her dream in entertainment, starting in Acting, Modeling, and eventually expanding into Music, Radio and TV Hosting work. Laura has credits as a “Co-Star” on several Television shows including “Married With Children” “Silk Stalkings” “The Young and the Restless” “Renegade” and “Starred” in numerous Feature Films. Laura also started working with HBO/Cinemax and had her own TV series that she “Starred” in for two (2) seasons.
The work kept coming her way, so over the next few years she was cast as the Host of Infomercials, Celebrity Golf Tournaments, Fox Sports Shows and also the Host of three shows for Playboy Television for over 6 years.
Radio was next on the list of achievements for her, she landed her own radio show on the number one (#1) station in the number two (#2) market in the United States. 97.1 KLSX the FM Talk Station picked up the “Laura & Gretchen UNCUT” show for 3 years, a show Laura herself created with her partner Gretchen Massey.
All the while, with her heart still focused on country music, Laura continued writing songs and working with a vocal coach.
Laura recently bought a home in Nashville, TN where she just finished recording her first CD produced by Nick Brophy, who has worked with Phil Vassar, Jennifer Hanson, The Rolling Stones and wrote and produced two (2) songs on Hootie & the Blowfish’s new album. Laura’s CD inlude 3 songs she co-wrote, and songs written by two (2) time Grammy nominated writer, Jan Buckingham, Jeffrey Steele, Gary Hannon, Jennifer Hanson, and Julie Vassar just to name a few.

"FEMALE COUNTRY SINGER/SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR" for "Cross That Line"
and "FEMALE COUNTRY VOCALIST OF THE YEAR" for "Sticks and Stones"
in the 16th Annual LA Music Awards. The awards will take place in Los Angeles on November 9th 2006.
Laura is 2nd Runner Up in the VO5 Red Hot Rising Star singer/songwriter contest with her song “Cross That Line”. VO5 has a full page ad in the August 2006 issues of Glamour, Allure, Jane, Self, Lucky, and Teen Vogue, putting Laura’s face and song in the spotlight.
Laura has been extremely busy since coming to Nashville and was featured live on the Grand Ole’ Opry radio station WSM 650, played the world famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge, The Nashville Palace, Whisky Island, Crossroads, GaDang, and plays weekly at The Alabama Grill.
