Roy and Greg were members of a very popular Rhode Island rock 'n roll guitar cover band in the mid to late 60's called The Van Goghs. The band played throughout New England and recorded 3 singles on different labels including a single picked up by Smash Records. It was after the breakup of The Van Goghs that Roy and Greg started their songwriting careers together. Roy had already written songs that The Van Goghs had recorded and is a music composer of considerable talent. They are now writing their best material even though the two are separated by 3,000 miles. Roy lives with his wife, Cheryl, in California and Greg with his wife, Paula, in RI.
They have enjoyed writing songs in many styles: pop, rock 'n roll, jazz, country and island. Ballads are where they shine. Roy has always been known for his hauntingly beautiful melodies and Greg's sensitive and poignant lyrics complete the package.
