Artist Biography

Karl Broadie possesses a unique “sweetly cracked” voice and has garnered songwriting comparisons to the finest of the Americana/Alt-Country genre; Dylan, Steve Earle, Townes Van Zandt, Tom Waits, Neil Young and Wilco.

Besides Broadie's career as an artist / performer, the last 12 months have seen him really start to rise through the songwriter ranks and he is now also a well respected co-writer in high demand. Recent co-writes incude many up-coming young country artists on major and Indie labels as well as Australian Idol Top 10 contestants looking for hits to help their careers flourish.

Karl is now a self-published songwriter (Woodsmoke Music).
