Josephe' Lamonte Watson (born June 20, 1979), primarily known by his
stage name Joe Vertigo, is an American rapper based out of Kansas City. He
is the founder of Vertigo Worldwide Music and aims to promote his
music on a global scale.
From a small boy to a man, now standing tall, 6'3 to be exact, he
is an urban legend in his city. He has become a victorious man over
his transgressions, and Joe Vertigo aims to make music with his influence of reality from the struggle, and promote it to the world.
Joe Vertigo is a performer, a producer, a writer, and composer. He has a buzz in the underground rap scene. As of 2010, he has completed over 50 appearances on other artist's projects from all over the world. Along with numerous movie quality soundtracks, he also has a catalog of written songs for other artist that are numbered in the hundreds.

Josephe', a brother of 4 boys and 1 girl, was born to two very
hardworking parents in Kansas City. His mother had moved from Texas to
Kansas City prior to Joe's birth in order to flee the malicious crime
and gang lifestyle that surrounded the family. His father was a
notorious gangster, who along with his brothers, controlled the
streets of Kansas City from the late 1960's, all the way up into the
early 1980's.

Unfortunately for Watson, Kansas City exposed many negative aspects of
life to him at a young age. Growing up in a deficient, drug, and
gang-infested city, pressured Joe, and lead him to run away from home
at the age of 15.

While his actions led up to no good with his peers, Joe would rap to
pass the time, as he hustled his way to stay alive in the streets of
Kansas City.
At this point he had found his talent. Others began to
notice how skilled he was at rapping. A friend of his urged him to
quit selling drugs, and gangbanging to pursue his music career. This was the
turning point for the lost and broken young thug, soon to be rapper we know
today as Joe Vertigo.
