Jason Whitton

Jason Whitton can best be described as a singer-songwriter with roots in country, folk, rock, and R&B. He has been singing and playing guitar most of his life. Jason’s writing is at times extremely personal, weaving his experiences with the people in his life into poignant and insightful songs. He is extremely passionate about what he does and it comes through in his songs and his voice. Jason continues to be dedicated to the art of story telling.
He is working on several projects at the moment. His band, Thriftstore Cowboy, has been playing in LA for nearly four years. Along with drummer Jonas Mannon, he has played: The Mint, Coconut Teaszer, Genghis Cohen, and The Gig, just to name a few. There is always a crowd of devoted fans at his stirring shows, which tend to make one a bit teary eyed.
