Janet was born december 22nd to dominican parents. As a young girl growing up in Dominican Republic, Janet learned Spanish as her first language. Janet dreamed that one day she would become a well-known photo model using her genuine, settle, pose in every photo. Along with wanting to be a photo model, music and songwriting is her passion. During Janet’s childhood she grew up listening to artists such as Menudo, Juan Luis Guerra, El Puma, Julio Iglesias y Ana Gabriel.

Currently residing in Oceanside New York, Janet’s passionate around writing songs in Spanish and English, tailoring her original songwriting creativity toward a certain style of music including the genres Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Bachata, Cumbia, Bolero, and Ballads. Janet is influenced by her idol Selena to Aaliyah, Miriam Hernandez, Ana Gabriel, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Monica, Mary J, & Destiny's Child.

During college, Janet was discovered singing and with her born talent, gained fans immediately. Janet’s cousin Ramon encouraged her first collaboration with friend and rapper Bilyon. Creating the hit with Bilyon the community wanted to hear more!

Presently she’s concentrating on perfecting her craft. During the summer of 2007 Janet will be taking songwriting courses at Berkley College School of Music. Janet will continue her passion and pour her heart into her music creations, leaving her listeners want more.
