Cambridge’s finest, AKA Iyedouble, is 18 plus years in the making. This Cambridge born -Boston based emcee is literally incomparable. Incorporating the patois slang of the West Indies along with intricate word play and the old school chat of urban folk world wide, Illin’ P displays the unique and true definition of literary art while keeping it “grounded”. Having contributed works for a number of independent projects including two films, Illin’ P has chiseled his signature in the cornerstone of Boston hip hop. Though time and experience has earned him the status of “local vet”, this “national neophyte” has been nominated for two Boston Music Awards (best new rap artist/ best rap single). Currently, he is working on a full length LP scheduled for a fall ’04 completion.
