High Energy Boy Music was founded by Los Angeles songwriter and novelist, Gary Alan Hidalgo. We have written and produced a wide array of music from RNB to Dance. We are currently putting together tracks for Asia's very own Carrie Underwood, country pop artist Miles Poblete. Her inaugural tracks "Gotta Give Up Sometime" (Hidalgo/Borja/da Silva) and "Running on Sand" are now playing on San Antonio, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee.

My Story So Far

I'm a rare breed of country songwriter and Science Fiction & Fantasy writer (short stories to full-blown novels). What's more I am of Asian descent (Filipino), a culture where country music isn't so hip. But so what? I love county music as much as I love Science Fiction and Fantasy! I'm passionate about both equally. Therefore, my favorite song should be Kenny Roger's "Planet Texas!" While I do like that song, my iPod Classic currently plays (non-stop) Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Zack Brown Band, Darius Rucker, Taylor Swift, my perennial faves Alan Jackson, Dolly Parton, Shania, Leanne Rimes, and Faith Hill. I'm also obsessed with Laura Bell Bundy who takes so many risks! and I play "Hip To My Heart" by The Band Perry at least every hour while I am writing.

I live in Los Felix Village in Los Angeles, CA with my pomeranian, Gilliam. I'm recovering (quite nicely) from a stroke i had last July that has completely changed my life and way-of-thinking. you don't stop dreaming even if you fail a couple of times. Oh, and I am a big supporter of young stroke survivors (under 50) like me and literacy! Reading and writing has been my haven since my illness. Please enjoy my music and hopefully, books soon!
