Frank Rudley - Computer Engineer

I am a guitarist but I also like to program computers to make experimental electronic music. I don't use any of the off-the-shelf traditional tools. None of those will help me. I can't use any traditional instruments either since all of my music is atonal. So, I have to do everything using my own written computer programs. I use pure mathematics to generate my music. I never know what I will get in the end. It is all up to the mathematical relationships. This music is very computing intensive and it can take my fastest computer many days to generate this music. I believe my music is very unique and fits into a different genre that doesn't exist yet. I hope that some day this type of music can fit in to this world. It can be dangerous to listen to this type of music also as it can cause mental effects. It may cause intense dreams and altered states. I hope to be able to sell this music to "music therapists" as I think it could also be used to improve the health of a person. I think I might be able to customize and tune the music around a person's particular brain to be able to improve their health and mental state.
