Eric Sieka - Bio

Eric has had a love for great songs, with great melodies for as far back as he can remember. While he was always a careful listener of music, breaking down his favorite songs and trying to understand what made them so wonderful, it was not until high school when he joined his first band as a keyboard player and vocalist that he got his first taste of being involved in the music. "I had a mini Yamaha keyboard that I was not really very good at playing and I was just trying to keep up with all these truly talented band members... they put up with me I think." said Eric of his first band experience.

When college led band members in different directions, Eric ended up founding a new band - Crosswinds - with some of the prior band members and one additional player. It was with this band that Eric came across his desire to write original music. "Once I finished co-writing my first song, I was pretty much hooked. To this day it feels less like I write them than I find them."

Crosswinds went shopping for a record deal after changing their name to Suspicion, but never found success here.

Still, Eric was hooked and has continued to write to this day. He has had interest from major label, platinum selling artists.

Currently, he is working with Roberto Cerini, who he recently met through the power of the Internet.

Their first demo together entitled "Simple" was written by Eric and produced by Roberto and Eric. It includes a number of other great players including Scott Pustilnik on bass (formerly of Familiar 48) and Steve Cocchi on keys. Eric and Roberto are working on other songs and expect to have more material soon.
