Classically trained concert pianist, writer of pop songs and instrumental pieces. Studied at the Royal College of Music in London, taking piano and theory, and became an Associate (ARCM) in 1980.
Debut piano recital at Wigmore Hall in London in 1986 to critical acclaim. Now concentrates on
composition, arranging and music engraving. Stepson of leading British film composer and symphonist Benjamin Frankel (1906-73) whose music he has helped to promote, especially through the reconstruction of lost film scores (many now commercially recorded).
