Domenico Cannizzaro is a well-known Italo/Australian tenor who has moved to Italy to pursue a musical career in both classical and commercial fields. He has enraptured audiences and critis worldwide with concerts, opera and television appearances.

His parents left Italy in the 1950's to begin a new life in Australia, now Domenico has left Australia to begin a new life in Italy. He lives in Rome with his wife Aurora who herself is a reknowned pianist and composer. Together they perform and write original material in the contemporary tenor genre.

Domenico Cannizzaro is a product of the Italian Bel Canto school. He was a finalist in the notable Sydney Sun Aria competition and Dame Joan Sutherland, the chief adjudicator, was lavish in her praise, describing him as "A light in a dark room
