DOMINIC'S BIO
Dominic French is a young jazz composer, pop/rock songwriter, keyboardist and promising producer from Boston, MA. Celebrated songwriter Jon Aldrich said, "It is quite obvious that here is a man who is driven to write commercial songs that have radio potential. He's got the gift! He's a natural."
Dominic is currently working on his first Songwriters' Demo to pitch to the major labels and publishers in hopes of getting a cut or a deal. He is also involved with The Hit Factory / Live City Entertainment of Boston on an artist development project focused on helping under-privileged but extremely talented young artist start their paths to the Music Industry. He is currently co-arranging and co-producing such rising stars as Erica Telisnor of Hyde Park and Allegra Fletcher of Jamaica Plain. Also, he has partnered with renowned singer Ellen O'Brien of Revere to work on her new album and plans to start performing with her on a regular basis soon.
As a performer, Dominic has played all over: Symphony Hall, Tremont Temple, The Park Plaza, The Strand Theatre, Berklee Performance Center, and Fenway Park, just to name a few. He has shared the stage with many famous artists such as Terri Lynne Carrington, Chaka Khan, and Tye Tribett. As a songwriter/composer, he has written almost three-dozen songs to critical acclaim and was Runner-up in the May 2007 "Song of the Year" International Songwriting Competition.
Dominic plans to start his own publishing company, with the help of long-time friend and lyrical partner, Max Macrides, aimed at nurturing the creative talents of young Boston songwriters by setting them up with older, experienced mentors.
