Exploding out of Reading, Pa comes Divisions. An original 5 piece band that tears up an extremely unique, Post-Grunge rock/metal style fronted by singer Sam Torres. Sam belts smooth, melodic, and powerful in-your-face vocal style. Complemented by guitarist Darren Makins and Josh Sawyer. Both Josh and Darren bring brutal dark groove rock riffs with metal tendencies. Josh and Darren started writing and recording songs together in early 2010. Summer 2011 drummer Jay Withers and bass player Harry Vogelei where added. Jay brings driving powerful, grooves and precise rhythmic drumming. Harry brings a thumping rock bass that anchors every beat and melody. 2012 vocalist Sam Torres joined the band. Sam was the final piece to the puzzle. With the addition of Sam's well crafted voice, together the band will show that Divisions is one of the more promising bands on the scene. All brilliant musicians with various musical backgrounds.
