I'm about as simple as you can get...I write songs and record them at home on an 8 track recorder. I sing all the vocals and play all the instruments. I've been in bands ranging from 80's metal to classic rock to alternative grunge. Now I simply write and record at home while maintaining the responsibilities of life.
