Dana is a very diverse artist, who has been in the music business professionally since she was 13! She has a classical background, competing in, and winning many classical piano competitions, and playing many concerts. She has been writing songs since the age of 11 and has written songs of all genres. She has written songs for fellow artists, and has toured Serbia as the other half of the sensation DnD. Her music is a cross between pop, soul and jazz and her voice is as diverse as her music, and she sings with such feeling that it is hard not to be affected by it. She is not tied down by constraints, nor does she conform to music ?rules? - her music comes straight from the heart (and gut) and she writes it however it comes: whenever, wherever, whatever.
DANA MUSIC BIOGRAPHY
Dana was a member of DnD. Shestarted singing in 1998 and has 3 successful albums. The band has had many significant hits taking them around the country, as a member of the band; Dana has played numerous venues and has successfully been in the public eye since their debut in 1999. Dana has taken on vocal production and has written songs for other artists in Serbia. The theme tune she wrote for the Serbian soap opera is her most successful venture into song writing to date; it instantly became a hit in Serbia and the neighbouring countries where the show was broadcast. Dana is a student of Drama and Theatre Studies in London, she teaches piano and is preparing for her diploma in performance (Piano). She started playing the piano at the tender age of 6, and has since then competed in and won numerous awards throughout England and has played in many concerts in Serbia and England.
