Hi Susabell, thank you for your review of Lauriella, and more so for your candid honesty. I found your review to be very fair, even though the song was not in the style you prefer. I am grateful for people like yourself who listen for substance. Thank you again. I am all smiles.
hi thanks for the review. , much appreciated
Hi Susabell, thank you for your review of So The Story Goes. I appreciate the compliment on the melody.
Hi Susabell thanks for the nice review of "Still the Same". Now how did you get Tom Petty to sit in on Renaissance Girl??? Or is it Bobby Caputo? (one of my BJ favorites)
Hi, thanks for the kind and encouraging words. Wanna make a onceuponahorse" album? I think we could build it. Susie Schramm
Thanks for thinking of me, but I am swamped. God bless you and have a merry Christmas, Susabell.
You too, happy to hear of your success! Happy Holy Holidays!
Wow Denise best review I have ever had thank you so much. This is my song "and I'm sticking to it" as my sis would say. I have had a wide range of reviews but never one that topped the charts like yours. I needed that. Sincere thanks!
Hi Susabell Thank you for your review of 'A Waltz for Beth'.
You are so welcome keep up the fine work... More music please!
Thanks for reviewing Fall of Joy. I thought it was funny you thought I was Irish. FYI: I was born and raised in the Chicago area.
Thank you for really getting my song of "Farewell to Tarwathie" it is nice to see someone who can listen to a story and understand it for what it is. I listened too your song "Twilight West" and it brought back such memories of a young bride of 4 months when Uncle Sam sent xmas greetings Dec. 17 1965 and in a month my groom was gone to boot camp. Viet Nam was not good for many good young men. I got lucky and my groom came home.....I hate war and in my American cd that is up next I am singing " When Johnny Comes Marching Home" with Johnny I Hardly Knew Ya" We will be glad to see all the boys come home, but not see the scares war left behind. Well on that "Happy!" note thank you again for the listen.....DBR
Wow you have a story and singing it is as good a way to tell it as any. I too despise the war machine and it's arrogance. The tragedy of loss and trauma must be told.
My producer did not want me to do the song, but I insisted and recorded the song anyway. It is my way of protest the loss of beautiful young people and the scares seen and unseen they bring home if they come home. Best regards in music.......DBR
Thanks, always good to question authority...
Hey thanks for your recent review of Venom In Your Voice, I greatly appreciate your time and the positive comments! Chris
Mercy Beacoup for your kind review. Underneath the moon was recorded years ago but I still love the song myself. At that point I hadn't yet been to Paris, but I have since - twice. Love it! Wrote a song on my last visit called 'on a Boulevard in St Germain'. I'll record it one day and maybe you'll hear it. In the meantime please drop not m website johnhanlon.com.au for music and other stuff in my manic life. I'm traveling at present but as soon as I can I'll listen to you music. Take care, John
Thanks for kind commens on"Dancin'Shoes". I appreciate your thoughts on it!
Thank you for reviewing my song "Twilight West". I appreciate your input and agree I can be pitchy! Will do a revision and hope you will be there for the next review. All the best...
Thank you for your review, and Thank you for your honest opinion. I am working on Instrumental Music for Film & TV , the transformation is a little tricky for me, as I was trained and conditioned to write for Radio.
