Thank you for your review of Never Surrender. We are trying to decide on the song lineup for an upcoming self produced CD and feedback like this definitely helps!
this one should go first...by far the strongest of the ones I heard...I did go through a few of them. This intro riff is perfect and it gets better from there. You got it, don't waste it now! :}

Thank you, Steve, for reviewing Prison. I appreciate the feedback. All the best to you!
Hi Steve, Thank you for your very detailed and kind review of It's Over Now. I have to admit to having a sneaky liking for the track, mainly because it has some of my better background guitar playing! You are quite right that it certainly is long - much longer than anything else I've done, I might get around to reducing it at some stage. It is a bit of an indulgence, but what the heck! Thanks again, a very useful review sir! Have just been listening to some of your tracks, they are very original. California and Telling Little Stories are especially fine tracks with great vocal and arrangements. Good luck with your projects. Bob
Thank you, Bob. Havin' a listen to "love is in the things i do," kickin' vocal, beautifully expressed, well written, the chorus rocks, pretty melody, got it all goin' on, good luck.. in music, Steve
Thanks Steve. I have been incredibly lucky with the quality of ladies who have agreed to sing my tracks. In this case Emma Jane recorded her part on an iPhone while getting on with her own singer-songwriting career. She is awesomely good. (This is the third song in weeks to be described as having a "pretty melody", is that a compliment or does it mean the song is a bit lame? (Be honest - I can take it!)
if you've a moment., check out www.iacmusic.com, got a core group of supportive artists/muscians, neat format, music stations for independent music...two songs for free if i recall...

Steve. I've just received a message about your song' We Kept Riding'. Did you mean it to come to me? I don't think I reviewed it. Regards. David
hi david, "audiodream" reviewed i see, but was on your page, listenin' to "starlight", cool song, cheers...
Cheers Steve. Glad you liked 'Starlight'
Hello. Your review of 'Starlight' was incredibly kind. I don't know what to say really. I've always struggled a bit with the writing of Rock songs and this song was written originally as a ballad but I decided to rock it up on a whim really. The vocalist Dean Newsome and the producer Tony Davis take a lot of credit for the finished article. I'm really flattered that you would like to collaborate on a song. I've tried co-writing in the past but I'm very single-minded in what I'm looking for so co-writing could be problem. However if you'd like to produce a song of mine that might be an interesting and worthwhile project. I've currently got some songs in their very early stages..only half-written but they are acoustic, folky pieces that might not be your kind of thing. Finally very many thanks for your massive vote of confidence and should I come up with a song that I think would be of interest to you I will get back in touch. But be prepared any demo MP3 I send is likely to be rough!! Regards David
yeah, lets try it, send me your mp3 see what happens.
Great. In a couple of weeks and I should be able to finish a song that I think has got legs and I'll put together a demo MP3, chord and lyric sheet. Can you give me an email address?
live2roll@yahoo.com
Thanks. I'll be in touch in due course.
thanks for your generous review/commentary on "we kept riding", cheers...
So sorry! I reviewed one of your songs and completely forgot to click the little buttons, I was busy writing in the boxes I forgot! Nice work btw
Steve. Thank you for your review of 'Starlight'and your constructive comments. You're probably right about the lyrics but I do tend to write obscure lyrics which is a bit of a problem as these days the trend seems to be for songs to give a direct message. Regards. David

hi, thanks for your encouragin' review "peko", about a bird that recovers and flies off to his nest. oh, a birdlover, moi aussi lol...how do they fly 2000 miles each year, and return to their nest, without a compass? au revoir for now, steve a.
Hallo Steve, the Starlings in Europe fly south for the winter, did you know that the Starlings in the US stay here through the winter? They have big maneuvers in fall, but they don't leave. They know where to go in Europe, but they are not native here, so they are born without a compass.......... maybe they think they will fall off the earth if they fly too far from home here? Their grandparents etc. never found a way south. Yes, I like birds a lot.
Steve, glad ya liked Time...appreciate the review. M
