Hi Vinny My name is Pete Davies (pete@theguitarlibrary.co.uk) I am a guitarist from the UK who has had a lot of success on TV and radio here. I am starting a new niche production music library specialising in guitar music only. I like your music and think some of it might be suitable for my library. I wondered what publishing arrangements you have in the States and whether you would be interested in promoting your music here in the UK and Europe? Drop me a line at the email above when you can. All the best Pete

HI Mitch Do you write any of your own compositions? Pete Davies (pete@theguitarlibrary.co.uk)
Hi Daniel Pete Davies here, I wrote to you about a month ago. Just to update you, things are progressing nicely with the new production library in the UK and I should be finalising details by the end of the month. Meanwhile can you let me know what the situation is regarding the publishing of your songs? Are they already published and if so, in which territories? Thanks, All the best Pete (contact me at pete@theguitarlibrary.co.uk)
Thanks Peter, my songs are all published best regards D
Are they published for the world? Pete
Hi Rusty My name is Pete Davies, I'm a guitarist who has had a lot of success in the UK writing guitar music for TV. I am in the process of starting a new niche production music library called The Guitar Library. I am looking for guitarists who write guitar based instrumentals and came across Splattergun just now. I don't know if this will interest you but I will be working with a unique number of artists in the UK, heavily promoting their work here. Do you have any other instrumentals and would you be interested in promoting your material in the UK and Europe? All the best Pete
Hi Pete, Yes, I am interested in pushing my music in other avenues. Have you got anything set up yet? Website or such? I have another blues based instrumental and I can create various tracks in my studio rather quickly. I have a staff of top notch players. What kind of split would you want on the tracks if something sold? I have my publishing setup through BMI. But yes, I am interested. Give me some more details and an email where I can send stuff. My email is rustywrightblues@gmail.com Thanks
HI Tony My name is Pete Davies, I am a guitarist who has had a lot of success on BBC TV and Channel 4, ITV etc in the UK. I am just in the process of starting a new production music library in the UK called The Guitar Library Ltd. The library is a niche library featuring guitar based tunes only. Your music would be very popular on UK TV, I don't know what your publishing commitments are in the UK and Europe but if you are interested in talking more, then drop me a line at pete@theguitarlibrary.co.uk. All the best Pete
thanks Rocky, I'm very flattered, glad you like my music! Pete
Pete, do you replace fret boards often? You burn them up! When I think I'm getting good at playing I hear a picker of your caliber. Blown away!!!! I was fortunate enough to have worked in the U.K. for 6 months and enjoyed every moment. Rocky Pounds.
Hi Daniel My name is Pete, I have a guitar based production music library with a lot of success in the UK. I'm busy looking for new writers of instrumentals, we do pretty well. If you are at all interested, please drop me a line. Yours, Pete
yes Pete I would be interested thanks cheers
Hi Daniel Thanks for the speedy reply, can I get back to you early next week with more details? All the best Pete
Hi Daniel Pete Davies here, I contacted you last week. Here's a quick update on what's happening. Right now I'm not only finalising the way the new website looks and can be accessed, but also sorting a contract that is both fair to writers and to my company. It's taking a more time than I would like but it's best to get it right from the start. Just to keep you in the picture, what I will require is guitar based instrumentals, in a variety of mixes. What I mean is that producers like to hear a full mix, a bass and drums mix, a guitar mix, a lead instrument mix and maybe any other short stems ie: interesting stabs or flourishes in the music. This of course makes your music more saleable as it presents it in a variety of usable forms let me know if you can do this. I'll be back in touch as soon as the paperworks sorted but until then, all the best and stay in touch! Regards Pete Davies Here's my home email which is probably better, petercdavies@btinternet.com
Hi David My name is Pete, I have a guitar based production music library with a lot of success in the UK. I'm busy looking for new writers of instrumentals, we do pretty well. If you are at all interested, please drop me a line. Yours, Pete
Morning Hillbilly Hellcats My name is Pete, I have a production music library in the UK, specialising in guitar based instrumentals. I've had a lot of success with music on the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV in the UK and also Oprah! in the States and some other things, worldwide. The site is undergoing a bit of an overhaul at the moment, but I'm looking for new guitar based instrumental writers. I really like what you do, (Chet Atkins and particularly Jerry Reed are my favourite guitarists) if you're interested in being represented in the UK, let me know. All the best Pete
Hi Pete I was just about ready to go to bed but saw your comment. I'd be most happy to be considered for your library in the U.K. Please tell me more! Thanks, Chuck
Hi Chuck What are you doing going to bed?? I suppose it is 8 in the morning here which I guess is pretty rock and roll! Thanks for your swift reply. To be brief I run a music production library here in the UK. We are a niche library dealing in guitar based music only. We have had success on a lot of popular BBC TV programmes, (Antiques Roadshow, Homes Under the Hammer, 2.4 Children etc) and are looking to expand our rosta. We're not a massive company but we work hard and have a lot of contacts. If you are interested in being joining us with instrumentals in the UK, then contact me on my home email for now, which is petercdavies@btinternet.com Regards Pete
Sorry somehow the 'y' got deleted from your name, Jeremy Pete
Hi Jerem Hi,my name is Pete, I have my own niche production library in the UK, specialising in guitar based instrumentals / themes. I'm just re-developing the site and signing new writers. So far I've had music performed on Oprah! The Antiques Roadshow, Homes Under the Hammer and many more, I'm looking for instrumentals, and I like the stuff you do. Do you have any istrumentals, preferably with a guitar in there somewhere? Drop me a line if you do. All the best Pete
Hi Pete Busy week! Thanks for your message. I do have instrumentals and several of them are guitar-based. I can also write to spec. I'll send you a bit more info via your website. Enjoyed listening to yours stuff there, by the way :-) Jeremy
Good morning, Alim I've not had a reply from you since we spoke about collaborating via my new production library. Can me let me know your thoughts so that we can start the ball rolling? All the best Pete
Hi Pete! Can we continue our conversation by email? Alim
Yes, good idea, here's my personal email: petercdavies@btinternet.com
Hi Pete, thanks for listening, glad you like the songs. I'm pleased with the way the 'Eagle' album turned out....first time I've written a concept piece.... Anyway, to get to the point, yes I would be interested, I mainly write songs as opposed to instrumentals but I do have a lot of instrumental ideas knocking around in various stages of development. Thanks again for your interest Pete, look forward to hearing from you. John Evans.
That's great, John! Let me know when you have anything suitable, I'd be happy to listen. All the best Pete
Hi Alim, first of all, let me say I like you music! My name is Pete, I have my own niche production library in the UK, specialising in guitar based instrumentals / themes. I'm just re-developing the site and signing new writers. So far I've had music performed on Oprah! The Antiques Roadshow, Homes Under the Hammer and many more here in the UK, here in the UK, drop me a line if you're interested. All the best Pete
Hey Pete! Thanks for nice words about my music. I appreciate it. So, I have many guitar instrumentals in various styles and arrangements. But all relates to "Jazz" somehow. Let me know how we can start to collaborate and we'll move on. Best wishes, Alim
Hi Alim, thanks for writing back so promptly. If you're interested in in venturing into the UK, this could be the way to do it. Basically we are a production / publishing company looking for guitar instrumentals all styles. What works best for us is variations of the same theme, eg: different mixes (full track, backing guitars only no lead, bass and drums only etc) We have good contacts here with the BBC and ITV, Channel 4 etc who use a lot of guitar based music. We would offer a 50/50 split. If you want to talk further, let me know. Whatever happens, I still like your music! Pete
Hi John , first of all, I like you music, particularly West from Fetterman's Ridge. My name is Pete, I have my own niche production library in the UK, specialising in guitar based instrumentals / themes. I'm just re-developing the site and signing new writers. So far I've had music performed on Oprah! The Antiques Roadshow, Homes Under the Hammer and many more, here in the UK, drop me a line if you're interested. All the best Pete
Hi Laurence, first of all, I like you music. my name is Pete, I have my own niche production library in the UK, specialising in guitar based instrumentals / themes. I'm just re-developing the site and signing new writers. So far I've had music performed on Oprah! The Antiques Roadshow, Homes Under the Hammer and many more, here in the UK, drop me a line if you're interested. All the best Pete
Hi Pete, Thanks for you kind words. Really great to hear from you, and well done on your success already. I'd be very happy to talk to you about how we could work together. Just to say my music is 100% vocals if I'm honest never really considered instrumentals ! Let me know. Cheers Laurence
Hi Laurence, you're an early riser too, I see! The music we require is mainly instrumentals, I think something like Who's Blues without the vocals (no disrespect intended)would work well. We'd also require different mixes of the same. for example guitars only, rythmn guitar no lead, bass with guitars no drums, etc. Do you have the masters do do this? Pete
Add a comment...
Hi Pete, Have to be up early for the day job ! I do use lots of loops on my tracks so I'm not sure that I can claim full credit for it all ! Who's Blues has a big following for some reason and has been used on cable TV and is right in the mix for an ad so may be getting overkill ! I'm most interested in songs and whilst I do have the masters for them all not sure I'd want to extract the instruments. Let me know if you get opportunities for complete songs ? Cheers Laurence
OK, same for instrumentals. Pete
Sorry I meant Joseph, or Joe
Hi Joeseph, glad you liked the tune, but there are no lyrics I'm afraid. Pete
Hey Pete... cool tune... got any lyrics for it? Get the Blues out of My Bed. Joe
