New song "Never Home" is up! Check out the story behind this song. It's a lot more intense than our other ones, but it really hits home for all of us, because it relates to a lot of the kids we know in the area.
Gonna post up Parias Day's 3rd and final single, titled, "Never Home"! ...just as soon as I figure out how to convert .wav files to .mp3!
Just google free wav to mp3 converter. There are tons out there and easy to use. Just watch when you are installing because it will prompt you to install other add-ons, such as tool-bars, etc...but you can just uncheck them and move on. I have used NCH and some others from CNET and all have worked fine.

Wow, I can tell I haven't been on here in a while! Well, Parias Day finally released it's self-titled 3-song EP, and kicked it off with a killer show in Stoughton, WI, opening for the band Loftland, with a decent crowd of about 500 people! Very frustrating to be "considered" time and again for the opportunities here on Broadjam only to get a "Opportunity status updated: The opportunity provider has listened to all of the submissions and the consideration process is now completed. Thank you for your participation." over and over again. I'll continue to be a part of this site but I've gotta find a new avenue to get my music out there.

well, heck , I'd just like to be considered one time. It's worse when they listen to your song and your hear nothing at all! Alan the fact that you're considered so often has to be viewed as a positive for you. It means you're close , and we all know all it takes it one break , we just don't know when that break is coming.
Hey guys and gals, I just wanted to see if any of you have signed your songs up on the numerous licensing sites out there? Not sure if you're all just on this site to sell songs for other people to sing, or if you want to try to get your songs placed? Anyway, I submitted my songs to Rumblefish, Pump Audio, YouLicense and pretty much anything else I could find. I've had songs on the CW (commercials for Nikita and the New 90210 through Rumblefish) i've gotten songs into shows on MTV, etc. Anyway, you have to be signed up with BMI, ASCAP or one of the other royalty companies, since you'll end up geting paid on the backend if you have something licensed. Best of luck to all of you, and keep on keeping on. : ) it only takes one amazing song. (oh, and i've been "Considered" a lot too, but nothing has been placed through Broadjam yet. :-) fingerscrossed
