thanks trina, much appreciated :)
Very Nice Song. Just by chance I click on one of Roy's suggestions and I like it.
Hi LJ, really appreciate both your review and your comment! Too bad on the scoring, haha. Best, O
Mr Dean - I reviewed your track yesterday and have been thinking about it since. I really enjoyed this track, more than I actually thought. I wanted to apologize because this songs rating should be a 49-50, not 39! I found myself humming this hook throughout the rest of day. I know I would by this track, it is the music I appreciate. Independent artist making what I like to think is mainstream songs. I am adding this track to my Playlist, can't wait to hear more.
YAY! For the first time since joining Broad Jam, I made a top ten list with my song "Big Dog Little Dog". I'm so happy!!! :D
CONGRATZ. . .
congrats Wednesday
Aw, thanks guys! :D
Yeah!!! Congrats!!
Wonderful news congratulations!!!
Hey Omar, thanks for reviewing "The Lone Star". I got a kick out of your rating as this is an old song from a CD that made the airwaves on NPR plus private radio stations in the States, CBC (Canada's natiional radio station), the ABC (Australian national radio) and Northern Europe. Guess your review boils down to subjectivety, which is what we try to get away from as far as possible on BJ and bring in the objective. You'll learn as you go along :D
Omar, Have you never heard of Avant Garde? or UnPop? This refers to your review of You Don't Know Me But..., so I am taking your review in reverse. The out of tune and time comments are a 5! The passable vocals and melody are 3. But I am not offended, as my critics make me laugh. This song, as well as all my Dementos songs, are on the Top 10 charts for their genres. I welcome you to connect to me and sample my other flavors, if you dare. Thank you for your review and what I consider kind worlds, - Nick
Hi Omar, thanks for reviewing 'Borderline'. The vocals, well, I have a character voice and phrasing and people either like it or not, doesn't matter to me, in fact I'm surprised you didn't give them a '2' :D. I've done a ton of voice lessons and no matter what, I'm not comfortable singing how it's 'supposed' to be sung. Whatever. The song has to be mastered yet but thought I'd throw it out there for now , just to see the comments. Have yourself a great day and keep on playin'!
Hey man, thanks so much for the good review of my song "All Alright." I really appreciate all the thought you put into it... I had actually never thought of it like that before. Thanks
Thanks for the review of Call My Name. That version was recorded 16 years ago so I like to think things have changed a bit since then, I'm certainly older and wiser ;o)
best review i ever had despite low score. cheers mate, nice to know there's people out there who really listen. good luck with yer own stuff. gave you top score all 5,s as a reviewer. thanks phil
Yo Omar, Thanks for the reviews of my songs "I Can Make You Smile" & "The Trade" Your point on the conversation at the end of "Smile" is well taken, I'll look into it. I was going lo-fi on that intentionally, trying to go retro-AM/ old live. I am sorry you didn't like "The Trade" I think Salley does a fine job on the one. I played my copy on line and it sounded OK, perhaps you got a bad feed, it happens. I listened to "Kiss Me" very nice. Load some more tunes. Thanks again and keep listening. Later, JD Carroll
Thanks for taking the time to review my song, Omar...appreciate the input. Mark
