hey Nathaniel! I would like to thank you for your very thoughtful review of my song Hamlets request.very spot on down to the name you gave it"shakespere on a casio" that is what I used a cheap one and I agree that it is too loopy for my taste since I was focused on the concept and lyrical content. I am very new to this engineering thing and have equipment (low end cakewalk sw and a comp. that has trouble handling it) I think it makes it more diff and time consuming to pull off what I would like.someday I hope to rework it when able financially just wanted to commend ur insight.thanks again, MDS
I'm glad you were able to take my criticism in good stride. Good luck with your future attempts to do awesome and artistic things. All my best: N
chi Jeff! I want to thank you for your spot on review of my song Hamlets re-quest! I agree with your constructive points. I actually recorded strings with a cheap casio keys I tried hard to tweak them to sound more real but couldn't get a sound I like and I did get a little lazy on the arrangement cus this was taking so long to put together I got burnt:( someday I will redo when I get better equipment. thanx again and would luv to have you as a connection!
Very cool and inspired effort on that one Michael!!
hi signal, I want to thank you for your review of my song Hamlets re-quest and your kind words. I recently reviewed your tune liquid engineer and liked it very much! would be great to have you as a connection. thanx again, Mike
Hi Michael, thank you for your review of Carolina Roads. Oh man, I have been going back and forth over whether or not to add lyrics. I did lean very heavily in that direction. I will take all of the advice as it is very useful. Truly appreciate you.
cool man! and as I said I can hear it standing by itself in background of the right video:-)
merry xmas robert! I want thank you for your very thoughtful review of my song song "hamlets re-quest 2012". It is clear you took time to make a meaningful review. as I am a huge ryche fan the Tate influence must come through though not intentional.as for the reading of hamlet that was an exerpt from a movie but i totally get what you say about that. thanx again my friend and best of luck in 2013! Mike
Merry Christmas to you too, Mike. And you're welcome on the review. That song has stuck with me since then. Very ambitious and interesting ideas there. I'd like to be clear that I didn't think the Tate thing was bad. I liked it. He's a great singer. On Queensryche, you might be interested to check out Adam Maxfield's (on Broadjam) piece "Ode to Mindcrime," in which he very cleverly pulled together a lot of the ideas of Operation Mindcrime as a homage in a song. Best of luck to you in 2013 too, hope you have a great year.
sorry that was" blue shadow " hit wrong button
one more time,i dont think my first post landed. I was saying thanks and i will check out adams tune as well as yours and hit you back with some thoughts.an d thought you might like to give an ear to my guitar instrumental "blue shadow". Latter bro.
Mike - I did listen to "Blue Shadow." Good, fitting title. Nice tune; stylish with beautiful chime and clear tone and the evolution to the overdrive part was interesting.
Thanks Mike for your honest review of God is Calling. Be Blessed
Hi Michael thanks for your review of light

Thanks for your review of Mr. Plastic Fantastic, I really appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to analyse the recording techniques.
no problem its a really cool tune, just a little lite in the vocal track for my ear.stay thirsty my friend:-)
hey chris I wanted to thank you for the time you took to review my song "hamlets re quest 2012". Your kind words along with input is greatly appriciated!I like the term avant garde you used.I am trying to fuse all my likes and sometimes it feels self indulgent and no one will get it.thanx again and I will give your tunes a listen. Best of luck Bro.-Mike
That one actually had me thinking quite a bit. It had a lot of different qualities and by the time I'd listened to it 4 or 5 times I was fully understanding the intent.
swee thanks tons for your review of my song xxxciter.i am glad you liked it enough to give it a perfect score!!!just curious why you listed genre as rock rather then rap.i am attempting to meld the two and just wondering why you leaned that way.thanks again swee.
NOT A PROBLEM. MY REASON OF LISTING THE GENRE AS ROCK IS FROM THE MELODY OF THE SONG. ANOTHER REASON COULD HAVE BEEN I CHOSE THE WRONG GENRE. THANKS FOR YOUR QUESTION. I KNOW THAT MIGHT NOT BE A GOOD ENOUGH ANSWER. AT LEAST THAT CAN HELP A LITTLE.
hey swee thanx for the nice review of my track 1ofakind.it was done on a little four track recorded so not the best of sounds but im glad you see the potenial.thnx again.
