Using more of the tools and resources made available to us through ASCAP, I just set up my own website at bandzoogle.com...I upgraded, but basic membership is free for ASCAP members for the first six months...it's been a great tool in helping me track where I have the most fans...stop by and check it out at www.maxxhassell.com

Hi, Roy...I'm a singer/songwriter out of Chicago who has been enjoying your site courtesy of my ASCAP membership...I think it's a great site and I love how it's bringing so many opportunities to other artists, producers, and songwriters...I notice my home page says my profile is only 30% complete...any idea on things that may improve my profile??? and also, my sound is quite unique and often hard for me to place...if you don't mind, can you take a quick listen and suggest any opportunities available now that I may be a good fit with??? thanks a million...
Max, Thanks for your note. I will ask our customer service group to respond and clarify.....You have been added to my listen list. Regarding the opps, make sure that your music is a fit for it. Also, watch the most popular tv shows and listen to what music is being used. I would look at who is getting licensed and considered and make sure the music your submitting is similar and competitive......Hope this helps, Roy
Maxx, I just listened to your list. Production and style is definitely current. Quality is good. If I was producing, I would take a little more time on the mix. Vocals get lost in the production at a few points. Good sound selections and lots of energy......Good work, Roy I particularly like Run, Run, Run and think it has commerical potential. Hope this helps.
Thanks a million for the feedback, Roy...I figured out the page set up pretty much and I will certainly apply your advice to future sessions...I record with a guy who has engineered for Diana Ross and Aerosmith among others and he charges $85/ an hour so you're right...I pretty much only allow an hour on vocals (I do most of my leads in one take) and an hour to mix...I think the extra time on the mix will be worth the extra investment...thanks again...and thanks for this AMAZING site...
Thank you for your review of my song titled: PinPoint.. God Bless you..
