Hi Kelvin, just reviewed waiting for a bus, I knew I had heard that song before, loved it the first time and put it on my playlist, well it is an amazing song!
Thanks Kim, very much appreciated!
Hi Jeff, thanks for the review of 'Waiting for the Bus', much appreciated. Just listened to 'They're Coming for You' - love it! Very dark, claustraphobic feel, & lyrically it could be a companion piece to 'Bus'!
Kelvin, Brother. Waiting For the Bus is Too Cool, son! Meet you here and on Judgement Day. - St. nick
Hey, thanks Nick!
I was just informed that my song, "Waving Prairie", was announced as the winner of The Best Song Award for April 2012 at Broadjam. I want to thank all my friends and fans who gave it high marks. This is a great honor coming from my peers. Best, Chet Nichols Inductee - The Kansas Music Hall of Fame
Great news - congratulations!

Thanks!
Gee Kelvin, I just listened to Drained Brain and Waiting for the Bus....both are outstanding and I think you have a real career ahead of you!!!!
Thanks Wednesday, much appreciated!
Hi, just wanted to thank you for your review of 'waiting for the bus', appreciate your encouragement!!
My pleasure
Thanks for your review of 'Drained Brain', Very much appreciated!!
Hi Eric, massive thanks for your review, very much appreciated!!
I know exactly what you mean, it would possibly have more impact that way. Unfortunately I was a mere vocalist on that track!!
Hi Wednesday, re: Borderline - yep what I meant was the vocal didn't seem to sit in the track, maybe a bit loud. Anyhow it's a cool song, as is 'Methadone Dream' Cheers!
Thanks Kelvin, I guess I'm 'old school' where the vocals are upfront, but if it's sounding too upfront then, hmm, I'll have to think about that for further works. Thanks and thanks on the Methadone Dream :D
I mentioned cutting the intro, and coming straight in with the full arrangement like you have at 0.24... my mistake, I ment 0.14sec. The part where the arrangement comes in snappy, but using the Em to C instead.. :-)
Hi Alan, thanks for the review of 'Drained Brain', very much appreciated, Cheers.
Hi Kelvin, thanks for reviewing "Borderline"...you commented on the vocals and weren't sure what they needed for your ears (more eq for example)...I have no idea what they could do with , it's hard to pin point.....we recorded live on two Roland Edirols so we basically got what we got in a fun and affordable manner :D
Hi Justin, Thanks for your review of 'Drained Brain', very much appreciated, cheers! Kelvin.
Hi Justin, Thanks for your review of "Get out of here." You are correct in that it is not a traditional verse-chorus style song. Ironically, it's the only song I have ever written that is not traditional. If you hear any of my other 4 songs, they are all much more traditional in layout. I purposely made this track scarce in terms of vocals, and I agree this is not a song with market potential, as it lacks the main qualities a song meant for licensing would have. I smiled to myself when you said it almost sounds comic, because when I started it, I knew it was more of a fun track and not one to represent my other work. I am still working on improving my recording/mixing/mastering abilities so forgive that. Thanks for the honest review.
Hi Mike, thanks for the great review, always feels good when someone 'gets' what your doing! All the best, Kelvin
Thanks for reviewing 'Waiting for the Bus', You're probably right in that it could do with more variety musically, but your saying it sounded electronic made me laugh as everything apart from tambourine was played on an acoustic guitar - even the percussion!
Just reviewed your song Drained Brain. awesome stuff man. really.
Thanks man, really appreciated the review.
