HEy Johray Thank you for the review of Blink of an Eye.. your ear is right on. The drums are synthetic and I play all the instruments and sing all the voices , so it can get a bit homogenous when one guy does everything... The song is about our drummer who commited suicide and so it is close to me and hard to be objective so I appreciate any critique I can get. It is part of a CD that tells a story ..its the last song on the group ..the Cd will be called the American Dream and With a little help from my Broad jam buddies I will release it first of the year Again thanks for the help Smokin Joe Pilloud

Thanks for your kind and especially honest review. About the guitar, being out of tune: Yes, it is....and there is an excuse. It's my oldest (first) acoustic guitar and I hadn't record with it in a long time. I made several songs with it in the past and it moved with me from place to place. Since many years it's hardly playable / tune-able anymore. But one day I decided to make a test recording with it, anyway and guess what? This new tune came about, while doing that. I forgot about it but rediscovered it recently and did some editing. I kept the guitar part as a sort of tribute, although it was more or less out of tune. Other versions didn't really work or have the same atmosphere. So that's the story behind it. All the best, greetings and success, André Zweistra.
