Breathless, great vocals haunting
Hi Ian, So glad that you enjoyed "Breathless". My sister in law Mary Noguera did the vocals. Without her interpretation of the melody and lyrics delivered in the way that she did them, the song just wouldn't have been the same. Her vocal performance created an emotional atmosphere which was exactly on point with the music. Made all the difference on this song. I'll pass along your comments. Thank you............. kenney

Hey NJ I copied and pasted this after I saw it: Tracy Newman posted 1 day ago to your connection Roy Elkins Roy - Here's why songwriters should put their songs up on Broadjam: A few years ago, I wrote a song called "Table Nine." It's a tribute to Merle Haggard, my favorite country artist. I put the song up on your site. A man named Nashville Joe (Hendrickson) heard the song and told me about these tribute to Merle Haggard shows being done in Florida in February, 2012. He put me in contact with the producer (Joe Gallimore at JGBigStarProductions) and told them about "Table Nine." He suggested they put me on one of the shows! I wrote to Joe Gallimore and sent info and the song. He called me the next day! Now I'm going to Florida on Feb 9 and 10 to do two of these shows! One in Arcadia, Fla. and the other in Port Charlotte. There are two bands on the show, The Florida Cracker Boys and Marty Haggard! As you know, none of this would have happened without Broadjam. I'm forever grateful to you for creating this site, and of course, to Nashville Joe for listening to my song. Thank you. Tracy, Thanks for the nice note. You have always been one of my favs on Bjam. "Fire Up The Weed" is one of the best relationship songs I have heard in a long time. I have played it for numerous people and will continue to do so. Also forwarded it to a folk radio show that I'm close to.....I'm glad you hooked up with Joe. He is a good guy and one of the most beloved members of our site. Everyone who works with him speaks very highly of him.....Good luck in Florida, Roy
