Hi George Williams,

I recently discovered your music " I Saw Her "while exploring artists on the platform and your sound really stood out. There's a strong identity in your style that feels like it could reach a much wider audience.

I work with independent artists helping them grow their fanbase through digital advertising campaigns, SEO visibility, playlist pitching, and streaming growth strategies. I also consult on music sync licensing opportunities for film, TV, and media placements.

Out of curiosity, are you currently focusing more on growing listeners or exploring licensing opportunities for your music?

I released my first 2 CDs in 2021, but I have been playing live since 1965. I am really focusing on sending my songs to songoftheyear.com to see if they are any good. I Saw Her was a Finalist in the first contest of 2023 (2nd Place Pop) and in the 6th of 2024 (2nd Place Pop) and Praise God We're Here was a Finalist in the 5th contest of 2023 (2nd Place Gospel) I also had a Semi-Finalist (songs 6-10) in each. In 2024 I had 12 Top 10 songs, 6 Finalists and 6 Semi-Finalists! In 2025 I entered every contest. They had 8 of them. I had 11 Finalists and 19 Semi-Finalists in 2025!
My point is this. I write Gospel, Pop, Rock, Country, Comedy, Big Band. If someone hears one of my songs and then another, they might not know that it's the same singer. I am no longer playing live, but I am proud of my recordings where every voice and instrument is performed by myself. I Saw Her is on my "GEORGE" Songs CD (2021). The cd had issues with the cover and noisy tracks and had to be re-made. It was mastered By Gavin Lurssen (a multi-Grammy winner). I had to send him hard copies to redo the noisy tracks and pay to have Disk Makers make the new cd with a whole new album design that features my artwork. Here's the kicker. They released the noisy tracks, and I couldn't ruin the reputation of a Grammy winner! It took months to get it straightened out. If you like I Saw Her, you might like some of my other songs. I don't think that I could afford proper advertising, but I would love your feedback!

Hi George,

Wow.. thank you for sharing all that detail. Your journey is incredible! Decades of live performance, doing every instrument and vocal yourself, plus mastering with someone like Gavin Lurssen that's serious dedication. And hitting so many Top 10s and Finalist spots in Song of the Year contests? That's no small feat. You've clearly built something special with your recordings.

I can see why you might be concerned about the diversity in your songs Pop, Gospel, Rock, Country, Comedy, Big Band it's impressive, but it can make it tricky for listeners to immediately connect the dots that it's all you. That's where tailored strategies can really help making sure the right audiences find the songs they'll love most and boosting recognition across platfo...

One more thing that may help. I have lots of recordings of me singing covers. I'm trying to sing like Elvis, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Wilson Picket, James Brown, Johnny Cash, Dr. Hook, Roy Orbison, etc. I played George Harrison in Beatlemania Now, and have live performances posted on YouTube. That might come as a valuable way to help the marketing.

Hi George, Thank you so much for the outstanding review of my song "Children of the World". This song I featured an Arabic singer as it has those Middle Eastern overtone.... mixed with the western Saxophone. I am the drummer and composer and got the song idea and groove from a trip to Tajikistan back in 2006. The song is in 7/8 but it is very smooth and many don't realize the song is in odd time. Anyways, thanks for the great review, it feels good to know that my hard work and attention to detail is being appreciated. You have good ears which allowed you to hear through seemingly ubiquitous stereotypes and were able to feel all the emotion and nuances hidden within the track. Dave - CenterPeace

Hi Dave. One of the things that I loved about your song was the east meets west vibe. Subtle, but effective. I have a piece of music that starts with a Middle Eastern/Indian vibe and then shifts abruptly to a western rock and roll groove playing the same melody. It is the only thing like that that I have done, and while reviewing yours mine came to mind. Only yours felt so real that it makes me want to revisit mine with fresh ears. So I really want to thank you !

Hello - just had a listen to a couple of your songs. Nice! "I Saw Her" reminded me a lot of an early Bowie song....vocal was spot on! Cheers!

Hi Mark, and I thank you for the comment. I definitely had Bowie in mind while writing "I Saw Her", and felt like his type of voice would be the one that would feel right telling the story. I'm glad you liked it and got what I was going for.

My song THE CLOCK is on the TOP 10 age 37 to 50 Chart today! It was written about 30 years ago, and features my Rick Turner Rennaissance guitar. I have used it on several songs. It is nice to hear the songs on recordings the way they always sounded in my head!

George. Thank you so much for the review of my tune 'Arabian Dreams'. I really appreciate it. I have to thank the vocalist, Mandy Leonard for her vocal contribution to it. I've had a listen to some of your songs. I especially liked 'The Clock' a very clever song and a lovely arrangement. And I envy your voice!
