thank you !!!! it's my autobiographical song about my childhood...it took me years to get the courage to write it and a few more years to have the courage to release it!
yes I kind of figured that. I hope it was catharctic to write it. My songs are generally not autobiographical at all, usually characters i create or feelings that may not be mine, but sometimes there is a grain of truth in them. I am probably too much of a repressor of my feelings to write a song like you did, so my hat is off to you, very courageous.
You really are quite talented. I listened to a few of your songs and I was really touched. I love your wirting, lyrics, and performance!

This is a beautiful song which just drips with heartfelt emotion and rawness. Not sure if you changed the piano you were using but I love at about 1:40, the piano goes old and slightly retro? Definite shades of Sarah McLachlan but very much you and not a copy-cat or imitation. Very moving track.

i think there was some background news at that spot LOL...and we added a little software instrument to make it sound like it's supposed to be there ;-) it means a lot to me that you felt it was moving... it' s my autobiographical song about my childhood...a very painful beginning...but putting it all into my music has been empowering!
Wow....that makes it even more poignant but also very brave to share such a personal story in song....I have to say, it does have a 'I will succeed' feel to it though, which you clearly have done!
