We're back after a two-year absence.
We've been away for a couple of years - significant medical issues. Due to my wife's poor health, we're now living in an assisted living facility. Nonetheless, we're happy to be back and listening to you. "No Fault line" is killer! Bailey Rose is perfect for this great song. This one reminded us a bit of Lady Antebellum. Terrific listen! Hi... We just listened to "Rest In Peace Instrumental 4". That was very soothing yet stimulating. nice mix of the keys with thte strings. You did a great job of making the established sound come across this contemporary...nicely done! Hi brian... We just listened to your song "Country Alright". What a great listen! Very commercial sounding. The backing tracks ar eperfect...perfect prosody. It's a really tight production and performance. the vocals are splendid. Sounds like something Craig Morgan or Kennjy Chesney might do. But your version is great! If we may, just one very tiny suggestion: In the very first line of the song, we would change "My boy & I are by the riverside" to "My boy and I **DOWN** by the riverside. We know...very small difference but we think it wouod flow better and sound more natural...at least to our ears. Regardless, it doesn't diminish the listening pleasure of this fine tune. Brian... Know what you mean! I think folks sometimes try to makre themselves feel better about their own music by slamming the hammer on someone else's...kinda sad :(. Regardless, we enjoyed the heck out of it! And yeah, people should comment in genres about which they have significant knowledge. If we listen to a genre we don't do (aren't many of those, though!), we simply leave a courteous note stating we liked it os it was fine but not our cup of tea and leave it at that. We'd buy the CD in a heartbeat if this one is representative of your catalog. Good luck with it! Al (and Di).
Kenney... We had to go over and listen to one of your cuts after reading your comment to Brian. Well, we really had a good listen with "Breathless". the only thing we would suggest is bringing that sexy female lead vocal a little more forward in the mix. Other than that, we thought it was pretty damned good! And that's a real easy fix...if ya wanted to. best to ya... Di and Al aka Double Trouble

Hi Alan It's good to hear from you. Sorry things aren't going well. If it's health issues I'm right there with you .I had to go gluten free last year because of allergies (no wheat ,rye , barley or oats). In January , I became the proud owner of two stents after a minor heart attack but life is still good. IREALLY HOPE AND PRAY THINGS START GOING BETTER FOR YOU. Thanks for the kind review on HAPPILY EVER AFTER. I'm submitting it to Disney on this site and another site as a test. It gets pretty frustrating to have tracks listened to 2 and 3 times and then get passed over. If I remember right you're a really killer guitar player. My solo playing is pretty mediocre. If I lay down a track or two , would you be interested in laying down lead? I have an industry insider that can get tracks heard for a new father, daughter NASCAR show. No guarantees it'll get placed. If you're too busy , I'll understand , just thought I'd get it out there. THANKS AGAIN!!!! Ed Dunn

Hey Don, What a fabulous song! Wow, this one is so true to life. Alan has been in the music biz since the 1960's and I (Di) have sung all my life but just been in the biz for a few years. Alan says this is one of the best songs he's heard in years. I agree with him...this is a truly a great song. We totally loved it! Should be hearing this on the radio!
