I am heavily impressed, and very appreciative of the opportunity to listen to this music. Absolutely awesome!
Mr. D, You are truly amazing when it comes to the subject of, and describing love my friend. You will always have my mutual respect and admiration, no matter what or where we are in the Country. Regards, Clifton David Feuerbacher
Hi Clifton, Thanks a million my friend. That coming from you, a man who's married, means so much. May the fire burning in your hearts burn for eternity!
Mr. D, the flame will never die man! You can count on that. Highest Regards, Clifton.
D, I am not well respected no longer due to a comment I made on Facebook, and Most all are no longer forgiving. I gave everything I could to make things work, and made too many mistakes which no one will forgive me for except God. I am faced with divorce from my wife of 21 or 25 years, and will have to find another place to go, since I am viewed by many who wish the worst. A believer in you.
You're a seasoned musician and I'd give up my summer just to collaborate with you coz it will be more fun than chasing bikinis at any beach. LOL!
LOL! How about we do both?
lol- sounds like good inspiration- especially for DiD's steamy songs!!! :0)
just uploaded a brand new musicbed for hire at PGO media Services. 13_104BPM is a bright slice of contemporary Country/Pop. exclusive rights start as low as $200. and, yes, separated tracks are available. additional genres will be sourced in the near future. meantime: please take a listen http://www.broadjam.com/artists/songs.php?artistID=100001&mediaID=626004 1
Nice --hot n tasty guitar work!!
thats a great deal, peter!
THX JR - simple question: when I go to your page to listen, which track is your favorite?
G - yes, THX. you know just how much sweat equity goes into the whole process of delivering broadcast quality tracks. BTW: B'Jam members, Mr Chapman is available to cut an unforgettable lead or two, might even sing your lyric should you wish, and all for a reasonable bundled fee. PGO Media Services - it's all about you. . .
my favorite song on jeffs page is "make it alright" but i see he has uploaded some more songs that i haven't heard. i'll have to get back and listen to the rest! great stuff!
yes peter, you would pay more in studio time at a quality studio, and then have to play everything yourself or hire musicians! and you would have to spend the time writing all of the music. you have everything done for a quarter of the price. my first cd cost me over $4k just to record and i did everything except the drums. and that was only 8 songs! and that was in 1990. and peters work and sound is exceptional! any lyricist/artist would greatly benefit from peters musical knowledge!
Peter, I'll be back for a good listen and a thorough review. The lyrics are so delicious. Somebody must be savouring them. Well done!
Hi everybody! To all our dear friends and Broadjam siblings, We haven't abandoned you. We have been so busy putting together hits. We're knocking on the doors of some of the biggest dogs in the music business. In Addition to "This Is What I want" a song which was no.1 RnB track for over 7 months here, we have "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love", "Are You The One", "Make Me Love You", "Take My Heart", "Don't Cry" as some of the songs they can't get enough of. We'd have loved to share them with you here but for obvious reasons, unfortunately we can't. But you know what? Just watch this space!!!! Wishing you the best, always! D in The Darling!
wishing you continued SUCCESS!
Succes! Congrats and enjoy, regards Floris
Many thanks to you dear brothers, Peter and Bekker.
Many thanks to you Peter and Floris. Your love and support has always been amazing. Maybe one day we should a song together. What do you think?
Working on my Christmas CD, just got 5 more ruffs. Can't wait to hear it all...! Will keep you posted on the progress. Thanks & Blessings to you all! DeDe
Always wishing you the best!
Hi DiD how are you doing?? I'm working on a WORLD music Christmas CD, one original song has an African beat, really cool!! Take care, DeDe :) www.DeDe-Music.com
Shawn man, blew me away with your video! great to see your labor and love come to a new high. I think we all now have a little more insight of who Shawn is and your awesome music. Keep on Rockin!
Thanks so much guys. Your music continues to push me to high standards for myself, and it's just impossible to not turn it up when it pops up on my playlist. Merry Christmas!
O, by the way, in the studio now, new album coming!
Hell to the yeah!!
missed you guys and Shawn in this year's sick pack. all of you make such incredible noise (with or without pics/vids)
Looking forward to hearing the new tunes guys \m/ Ad
Hope you saw the comment on You Tube and the direct reply. Keep it up Shawn!
"Waiting" is a great song. You remind me of Sade and Norah Jones. You got a place in music. Keep it up!
Thanks for the friendship. Your voice is amazing.
Hello! Anybody home? There's a good reason for the silence! Something big is cooking in the smell kitchen. So, don't even try sniffing it! You'll hear all about it in due course!
ooh is it spaghetti......? I just looooooove spaghetti!
with Italian sausage in a marinara sauce
Sure boys!
"One Night_ Never Enough" Should I speak my mind really? Well, I'm in love with the instrumentation and the vocals. You guys are so talented when it comes to production and singing. I got serious issues with the length of this song. It's rather too long for commercial appeal. This length is obviously due to the length of the lyrics. If this was done purposely then it's OK but I feel grasping the main theme of the song and putting it cross in a standard song form would be sweeter. Song reviews are normally based on a number of aspects including quality of writing, message, song length, form etc. This is the first time I'm seeing a song with two bridges and for that I got give it you for innovation. All in all, this is clearly a great piece of work by two of the very few specially gifted artists on Broadjam. You make this place a dream destination for many artists out there. Gave it 4 stars. Keep it up and next time you'll get five stars! I remain your friend, D in The Darling!
Thanks ma man! There is always that line that exists between commercial and artistic ventures. It occurred to me several times while working on this piece that it is not radio friendly for mainstream audiences. This song although seemed powerful enough that it needed to tell the full story and maintain it's artistic value above and beyond the need to cater to radio. It is always a consideration though. As a future album track I think it will do very well which is where it is slated to end up. Always appreciate your thoughts an input though. Thanks for the great review and score. More tracks coming soon!
Bohemian rhapsody is 9 minutes long!!! ;-)
Haha, exactly Adam. This could be along list. There are a lot of iconic songs that are well beyond the radio standard of 2:00 - 3 minutes.
American Pie , 8 minutes plus, Hey Jude , 7 minutes plus on US radio. But of course, Whos gonna tell Paul McCartney that his song is too long to get air play?
Great thing is there will always be fringy radio hosts who appreciate the art of a piece if it's a really great song. Pop consumer top 40 will never get 8 minute pieces, but you just have plug it with guys like Jurgen Goethe of CBC Disc Drive fame, or a guy like Randy Bachman (Guess Who fame) who hosts cbc's radio show vinyl tap. There's a guy who's not fettered by sticking to a commercial formula :)!
Guess the bottom line is; some guys got all the luck and can do nothing wrong! Whatever they touch turns gold!
No doubt luck is a factor in this industry. You know the old adage though....... it takes talent to get lucky. Sometimes things look a whole lot luckier than they are!
We're in Gaborone. We'd hook up and line something up.
No problem at all, I really would like to!
Let's do it. I'll send you and email later.
If it were a romantic affair, it'd be a match made in heaven. But Ginger Griffin http://www.broadjam.com/artists/home.php?artistID=82445 1 and D in The Darling are siblings in music. If you heard, they're getting together, would you wonder as to what the're up to? Watch this space!!!!
as I listen to your music, my music, all the music posted within these pages, I am reminded of a curious; no, make that - a wondrous expression a fellow musician once shared with me: 'every song is a true story. even if you think you made it up, it is the truth for someone else. choose your words, wisely."
Wow! I heard that striking a special chord with me. You hit the proverbial nail right on its head! Well done PGO.
hey boys, "Now You See Me" is killer. Adam and Chameleon, what did you smoke? Whatever it is, that's a bad habit you shouldn't think of kicking coz you're kicking butts here. Five stars from me.
Thanks Man! No smokin here, just a lot of emotion and notes that collided in an explosion of ear candy :)! Okay enough fluff there haha. Thanks so much for the kind words. I haven't forgot about you man. Tomorrow is the big day. Gonna send you some stuff as I get the vocals down. More magic coming up!
Great to hear that. I can't wait. I've faith in you. We're born to do this. So, let's do what we're put on this earth for. God bless Chameleon.
My new single "Story Of Our Love" out now on iTunes...support yo boy n go cop it!! http://bit.ly/OGnsKw 1
We'll certainly do that. Good luck buddy!!!!
Absolutely. I'm more than interested in collaborations. Are you ready for me? Check your inbox!!!!
"No one To Tell (kinda)" gave it 5 stars!!
"No one Left To tell" nice. I'll give it my best shot. I'd be done in a day or so. I'm gonna send you some amazing lyrics. Let's see what magic you gonna weave on them. And that's your punishment for looking collaborations!!!! Keep well buddy!!!
Does anyone fancy writing some soaring lyrics to a new track I've just uploaded? There is a minute chopped off the end for some reason once uploaded, so if any takers please email me and I'll send you the entire track privately Many many thanks
Got one taker so watch this space ;o)
Adam, Get ready. I'm coming for you. "Don't Blink". That's what I'll be sending you first. We're talking of lyrics buddy!
T-Bone, how many placements have gotten through Broadjam? J/A Thanks.
4 placements & I've licensed over 80 tracks since I've been a member.
You're the one with sweetest tale.
You got that right DiD.
Brotha T Those Tracks are Mean You deserve the success.
Thanks family!
"It Ain't Easy(May As Well Be Me)" I had to come back and gave it 5 stars. What a song!
Thank you kindly. We just finished filming the music video, and it's currently in editing. Rest assured, I will announce to my bj friends once it's available for viewing. Thank you always for your time and thoughts. Both are dearly appreciated.
You're not just a great talent but a great friend too. God bless!
"Stick Up" Yeah you did it again. One thing that I found missing was just a straight forward connection to the title for the sake of a layman. And for that, I gave it 4 stars. The vocals and the instruments are awesome
"Stick Up" is an expression used when a thief enters an establishment and holds everyone at gun point. It's called a "stick up" :)
"Words" Is another great song. Your voice is so powerful, as usual! Congratulations my friend.
"May As Well Be Me (Ballad)", Shawn, if it were a test, I'd say you have passed with flying colors. What a touching song!
Thank you kindly. I appreciate you taking the time to listen and provide feedback :)
I guess that's what friends are for. Sometimes we may say things that others don't wanna hear but the truth is, true friends sometimes say those things to keep on focused. You got it going my friend! God bless!
"Just Wait And See" Is that what you call a song? Shawn, where are you from? Don't tell me you're from America coz America is on this planet! You're out of this world. I guess that's why you don't seem to follow any particular form of songwriting and still come out on top. This is a song and half. You're great. Link-----Park, what do you call that group again? Should watch out!! This is your best song so far, as far as I'm concerned. Deserves more than just five stars! Keep it up buddy!
Wow, this is certainly flattering. Thank you sincerely, and Linkin Park is the band name...interesting that you should mention them because another person said something similar mentioning that band name just last week. Thank you again!!
Giving credit where it's due! That's what I do. You're going places buddy. And you know what? Don't forget to take me with you!!!!
:)
Where's the "Rick Ross Rumble Young Man Rumble" song? Can't find it on your profile!
For some reason its still pending.. i got to find out what happened.... We still have to get together on a collab.
Hey Melvin, I had been looking for that song too, i;ll have a listen as soon as it's online :)
Hey buddy, Did you get the lyrics to "Marry Me Now"? Didn't hear a word from you?
I did get them. I think they are great!! I'm really not sure what you would like me to do. Only once in my life I've written a tune with words. I'm more of a composer of instrumentals. I don't really work with a vocalist to sing the lyrics. I do arrangements for other artists (such as strings or horns) when they already have the basic tracks. I'd love to put horns on any of your songs.
I know. I just wanted to give you a feel of the words that will soon take your breath away. Melvin and l are done, it'll be your turn to blow your horns.
Wow!!!! I am so looking forward to it. When I saw the lyrics I loved them but didn't know what to do at that point. My email is: flashpointjazz@aol.com
Thanks Paul. "Once" is the word missing. It should be before Melvin. We're on it and there's an artist to pitch to.
"Taos Box", that's another great piece. Well done my friend. It's a well deserving five star tune. Keep it up.
Some exciting developments going on. We're making things simpler, sweeter and nicer; starting with the label name. Enjoy!!!!!
Add a comment...
That's the name from now on wards.
hey did congrats with your new label.
Thanks great one!
"The Beaches on Mars (W/Paul Messina" is one great song. Gave it five stars. Now I know the reason why Paul is booking flights!
