This is one of my all-time favorite songs from Tony. It's everything that a Blues song should be, and should be considered a Blues Standard. Putting aside all religious overtones, I believe that Father Flanagan would still appreciate the mention of one of his congregation members, Juanita. She has the amazing talent of lighting all the candles with one match. I still recall hearing this song for the first time, in my car, while taking a sip of morning coffee. Hearing the lyrics, "I'm going to hell in a hurry, baby, Church is out", I almost spit out my drink. Tony has the talent to write vivid lyrics that paint long-lasting images in your mind. As one other reviewer mentioned, if none of his songs get picked up (licensed), then apparently no one is listening!

Hi. I have to appologize, I wrote a review of your song, "The Pressure". I focused so much on writing and forgot to rate for all of the category-questions provided. And so it looked like I gave an incomplete review with a score of 8 / 15. I am very sorry for that and please understand that I did like the song, just a few comments/criticisms to offer. Cheers.
I do appreciate the clarity and I understand-I'm guilty of an accidentally negative review but I also appreciate the critisms as well
CyclopsCow - Thank you for placing "Church is Out" on your Playlist- been listening to your cuts - all your music creates such imagery - wonderful stuff my friend L.F. - Tony D

Thank you for reviewing my song, "Nothing Happened". It's always good to get a possitive review once in a while. Even though I truly am my own worst critic. Your comments are very helpful! Cheers, cC
Thank you for your review of my song, "Hot Coals Cold Ice". You are correct about being unique and original. I am not striving to produce a pop song in any fashion or form. I cringe at the thought of Broadjam putting me in the "electronica" category, where there should be an "experimental" genre. Thank you for your honest and sincere review.
Thank you for the review of my song, "Reduced To Salad". Your comments of my song needing work on a melody are indeed spot on. However, it is never my intention to make a pop song. My music is simply experimental and unique. I thank you for your honest and sincere review and wish you the best with your music as well!
Thanks. I like to thank everyone who reviews my stuff, whether it be a positive or negative review. Either way, the reviewer has put time (hopefully) into listening and providing their feedback. It's also refreshing to come across someone else who digs experimental material...
Hi Cy, thanks for your review on Send Me, Lord. I wrote it for our daughter when she was a little girl. She always wanted to be a missionary. That is what she grew up to be. She served in Kenya and now she has been serving the Lord in Ecuador for about 11 years. So the song came true. Great review, and I thank you! Mrs Kate
Hi Kate. You are very welcome. Your story about your daughter is very fascinating as well. I am glad to hear that she is doing what she wanted to do. Serving a purpose is so important!
Thanks for the review of 'Tenderly' - your remarks are right on the money! I am no singer as is apparent and appreciate your suggestions. Thanks. Nigel
You are very welcome. Glad that you appreciate the review. I'm no singer either, and don't claim to be. Probably something I could/should work on more...
Thanks for taking the time to review my song Summer Breeze! Your time and feedback are greatly appreciated!
Hi Lee, Thank you for writing a review of my song, "Season Change". I appreciate your feedback.
Hello. Thank you for writing a review on my song, "Reduced to Salad". I appreciate what you said, and regard your opinion. Cheers, cC (Cyclops Cow, band)
Yo Renfru...I see we've been on the Midwest top ten for a few weeks now...um, have you noticed that our stuff is like very different than everyone else's? It's supposed to be the Indy genre, but most of the other stuff is very much popish/mainstream stuff...have a great holiday season, man!
Hey CC .....thanks for the note. I hope your holidaze are going good also. I'm usually glad when all the chaos is over and I can resume my "semi-normal" routine......... Ya...everyone seems to see experimental electronic through a differant prism. Maybe they don't want to get too far out but I always think that what ever you put out there will affect everything else in a small way and you know maybe what we're doing will become pop music after we're gone.....HA HA HA!!! Any way keep doing what you feel and enjoy the trip..........R
Hey Renfru, I am listening to your "Dark Pools" piece, and I want to say thank you for sharing this cool piece with us. Mayhem is a great description for it, as well as agitated at times and disturbed. There is one part of it which reminds me of one time I was tinkering with an electronics circuit that produced this noise, hard to describe other than what was in your piece. Good memories of that time anyway. The ending was cool because it seemed to have fizzled out...until it gets reborn again was my thinking. Have you had any success in licensing your material through Broadjam? Anyway, I'm going to listen to some more of your stuff and enjoy...thanks again. cC
